If you watched the Build 2020 event, you might remember that Microsoft promised to create a new website for Edge add-ons / extensions. So today the company made the new site available with many improvements aimed at better usability.
The first page includes a set of popular extensions, along with additional categories on the right. The search page has also been updated with additional details about the extensions found during your search.
There is also a section on popular add-ons and another section with extensions recommended by developers.
The company said the new design works just fine with Windows Narrator or if you have High Contrast enabled.
As you will see next to the logo of the new page, a "BETA" is written, which tells us that the page continues to grow.
In addition to the Edge website for add-ons, users can also use the Google Web Store to install missing extensions. Microsoft browser is based on Chromium and thus supports both sources of extensions.
