The National Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) recalls its mobile phone with a press release LEAGOO S8 available in the Greek market, due to high radiation.
We read from the press release:
EETT informs the consumer public about the measures prohibiting market availability, withdrawal and recall of the product LEAGOO S8 (smart mobile phone), based on the control carried out by the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR) in the context of surveillance of the radio equipment market (see European Directive 2014/53 / EU, which has been incorporated in the Greek legal order with the PD . 98/2017).
It is noted that the imposition of the above measures is considered justified by the European Commission and is implemented without delay by the EU Member States, in the context of the EU process of protection and safeguarding the health and safety of citizens.
That cell phone LEAGOO S8, which is marketed by the company LEAGOO Intelligence Co., Ltd., after measurements by an accredited laboratory on behalf of the French Authority, was found not to comply with the requirement of Article 3.1.a of the above Directive.
Specifically, the ANFR measurements revealed values that exceed the approved regulatory limit of the Special Absorption Rate (SAR) of the trunk of 2W / kg, as well as the SAR of the telephone LEAGOO S8 has been measured at 2,39 W / Kg.
EETT invites consumers who have purchased the specific product to contact their supplier to find out the terms of its return.
