EETT recalls mobile phone due to high radiation

The National Telecommunications and Posts Commission (EETT) with a press release revokes it LEAGOO S8 phone available in the Greek market, due to high radiation.

Specifically and according to the EETT press release, is recalled mobile LEAGOO S8 and the committee invites its owners to contact them them for further instructions.

EETT informs the consumer public about the measures to prohibit availability on the market, withdrawal and recall LEAGOO S8 (smart mobile phone), based on the control carried out by the French National Frequencies Agency (ANFR) in the framework of its supervision radio equipment (see European Directive 2014/53/EU, which has been incorporated into the Greek legal order with Decree 98/2017).

It is noted that the imposition of the above measures is considered justified by the European Commission and is implemented without delay by the EU member states, within the framework of the EU ς προστασίας και διασφάλισης της s and of citizens.

This LEAGOO S8 mobile phone, which is marketed by LEAGOO Intelligence Co., Ltd., after measurements by an accredited laboratory on behalf of the French Authority, was found not to comply with the requirement of Article 3.1.a thereof. Directive.

Specifically, the ANFR measurements revealed values ​​that exceed the approved regulatory limit of the Special Absorption Rate (SAR) of the trunk of 2W / kg, as the SAR of the LEAGOO S8 phone has been measured at 2,39 W / Kg.

EETT invites consumers who have purchased the specific product to contact their supplier to find out the terms of its return.
