Reddit r/The_Donald has long been a place for racism, misogyny, homophobia, and fanatical devotion to the 45th President of the United States. Today, after years reviews, Reddit decided to take action against the 790.000 subscriber subreddit by banning it entirely.
Η movement it's part of new policies against all hate speech after Black Lives Matter protests led to an initial ban of 2.000 communities. 
Although only about 200 of these subreddits had more than 10 active users per day, other prominent subreddits such as r / chapotraphouse, a subreddit associated with a far-left podcast of the same name, were banned today.
It was about time.
We should mention that this isn't the first time Reddit has banned r/The_Donald. As of 2019 the subreddit, had limited features and the publications it was hidden from the front pages of Reddit. However, the community continued to grow, to this day.
