“An important addition to CentOS Stream is the RealTime (RT) repository. Includes a set of packages developed in parallel with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and is focused for systems with loads work which are sensitive to delays. Because these packages are developed very closely with RHEL releases, it makes perfect sense to include these packages and collect feedback from the CentOS Stream. The packages in the RealTime repository represent a mode coming in Red Hat Enterprise Linux real-time updates for RHEL 8.3.”
