The 2004 version of Windows 10, or the May 2020 Update was released a few months ago and continues to roll out to more Appliances, as Microsoft uses an incremental release for debugging.
When an issue is detected, availability to the subset of devices that could be affected by the same issue is automatically suspended, and Microsoft promises updates.
However, Microsoft seems to have fixed it recently some issues without the need to upgrade. One such example is a recent problem with the Disk Cleanup tool, which Microsoft says crashed some devices to the point where they could not boot.
Microsoft doesn't say much about the whole thing, though confirms THE EXCELLENT:
“Some devices may fail to boot if Disk Cleanup is run after installation of Windows Update 19041.21.”
Thus technically, after installing the Windows 10 May 2020 Update on build 19041.21, Disk Cleanup can cause damage to the boot of the device. Disk Cleanup may remove some critical system files, but we do not yet have any official confirmation from Microsoft.
