The developers of Minecraft are out of the loop. A new mod (VM Computers) for Minecraft allows players to build a computer that actually works with Windows 95 but also with other operating systems.
The mod uses VirtualBox, a free open source virtual machine software code, to run operating systems such as Windows 95.
So inside Minecraft you can create virtual hards disks to install operating systems from ISO files.
Of course, the Minecraft community started experimenting with the VM Computers mod and someone managed to do Doom to Run in Minecraft | Of course with the new feature we will see a lot more. You could, for example, play Minecraft on a computer within Minecraft.
