Microsoft says it is trying to fix a bug that prevents Windows Sandbox and its opening .

The problem affects versions of Windows 10 1903, 1909, and 2004. The error triggers one of the "ERROR_VSMB_SAVED_STATE_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0xC0370400)" or "E_PATHNOTFOUND (0x80070003)" messages.Microsoft: Cumulative Update Error KB4535996

The Windows Sandbox is a relatively new feature of Windows 10 Pro editions and από την έκδοση 1903 και μετά, η οποία επιτρέπει στους χρήστες να εκκινήσουν μια εικονική μηχανή με μια βασική έκδοση των Windows 10 για να τρέξουν δυνητικά ύποπτο λογισμικό χωρίς τον κίνδυνο να επηρεάσει την κύρια εγκατάσταση των Windows 10.

The feature has proven popular with IT professionals because of its ability to safely run potentially dangerous executables in a container, and Microsoft has added several improvements to Windows Sandbox in Windows 10 2004.

The Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAG) is also a relatively new feature in versions of Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise that administrators can use to create a list of trusted sites and local resources.

WDAG enters the when users try to open a URL που δεν υπάρχει στη λίστα. Εκκινεί τον Microsoft Edge σε ένα κοντέινερ Hyper-V για να διατηρήσει το πρόγραμμα περιήγησης απομονωμένο από το υπόλοιπο λειτουργικό σύστημα. Η Microsoft κυκλοφόρησε επεκτάσεις του WDAG for Chrome and Firefox from last year.

"To fix this issue if you see one of the above error messages, you should restart your device", he says Microsoft.

Microsoft plans to fix the bug in an upcoming version of Windows 10, but has not said when it will be released.
