More specifically, the company states that those who install a feature update will then have a new first-run feature supported by the Tips app. The purpose of the guide is to provide a closer look at the new features that will be available after the update.
The new function after the update is included in Windows 10 build 20190, which is currently available for Windows Insiders on the Dev channel.
Microsoft has not given a release date, but it is likely to be part of the 20H2 version of Windows 10 which will be released this fall.
"We know that it is not always clear what changes with an important update or even how you can learn and try new features and improvements. This means that updates may seem time consuming to you with no real benefit to you and we want to change that. " reports Microsoft.
"We present a new first-run experience through the Tips app that highlights the most exciting changes to your PC after installing a major feature update Windows 10. After installing this version, Insiders will see that the Tips app will highlight some of the latest new features from the latest Insider Preview builds on the Dev channel. ”
The new feature is currently only available for certain regions, such as the United Kingdom and the United States, but if you are interested you can enable it from the Settings app.
