The elementary OS development team has begun testing for the upcoming release of elementary OS 6.
There are many new features planned for version 6, such as multi-touch support and enhanced object synchronization, such as mail and calendar information.
“Important updates for communication and organization applications, based on the back-end of the Evolution data server. It is still in its infancy and currently requires the creation of an Evolution account until the development of Online Accounts is completed, but we are very grateful for the work done by Corentin Noël.
These updates allow you to synchronize mail, calendar events, etc. in related applications with a wider variety of account providers. ”
The operating system development team reports that it has created a new website hosting elementary OS 6 Early Access Builds to ensure that OEMs, developers, testers, supporters, and distribution friends can get the updates before traffic.
More details can be found in the post made at blog of distribution.
