For some time now, Facebook has been allowing users to use the new look of the page, but it has always offered a way to get back to the old layout.
The largest social network has now started posting a message explaining that the old interface will disappear in September.
The message also highlights some of the key new features of the interface, such as a clearer appearance, longer text, faster load times, and a dark theme that can be optionally activated from the drop-down menu.
The new appearance of Facebook was presented for the first time at the F8 2019 conference held in April and May of the same year. It was then made available to users in March of 2020.
The new interface is more like Facebook's mobile app with a simple navigation bar that provides quick access to different sections of the site, such as Watch and Marketplace.
The logo of Facebook has also been redesigned from the ground up compared to that of the social network's classic interface.
Of course they are expected reactions as with any great change. But time will help us all accept the new design.
