Windows 10 SSD bug fixed (finally)

Windows 10 May 2020 Update, also known as 2004, κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάιο με τουλάχιστον δέκα γνωστά ζητήματα. Η Microsoft μεγάλωσε αργότερα τη λίστα των προβλημάτων αναγνωρίζοντας σε ότι αυτή η ενημέρωση υπάρχει άλλο ένα σφάλμα στο Drive Optimize.

After upgrading to Windows 10 version 2004, users noticed that Optimize Drives (also known as a disk defragmentation tool) did not correctly record the last time it optimized a disk.Windows 10 May 2020 Update has been officially released

So when you open the tool, you will see that the SSD you have on your computer says "needs optimization" even though you have already optimized it manually.

As it "forgets" optimization times, the built-in Windows 10 maintenance tool starts rebuilding SSDs much more often when you restart Windows.

Post Windows 10 Build 19042.487 (February 20) currently released for Insiders, Microsoft has finally managed to fix the problem in the rebuild tool.

As you may know, the reconstruction of an SSD on a daily basis is not a very good idea. After ignoring user reports and comments for more than 5 months, Microsoft has finally fixed the rebuild problem with Build 19042.487 currently in the Beta channel.

Microsoft expects to release these updates for everyone (not just Insiders) through Windows Update and in the 2004 version later this week.
