This year's Ignite conference will be an online event two parts. One part of Ignite 2020 will take place in September, from the 22nd to the 24th. The other is planned for early 2021.
Both parties will be free, and will only take place digitally at 48-hour events.

Also, Microsoft is not going to host Ignite Tour events around the world this year because of COVID-19.
We have learned from the global digital events we have organized this year that we have the opportunity to bring the entire global community together in one place to create a truly global event. For this reason, we will not be holding Microsoft Ignite Tour events in various cities around the world this year. Instead, Microsoft Ignite will bring together all participants globally and provide an opportunity for local communities to meet, identify languages. Participants will also be able to acquire skills with Microsoft Learn and certifications.
So, all the Microsoft events will be done digitally this year and it seems that the same will be true for 2021.
