deepin 20: Easy Debian with an emphasis on appearance

The deepin 20 Linux operating system was officially released today with a lot of news and improvements.

deepin is known as one of the most beautiful GNU/Linux distributions, and it also provides a safe, secure, reliable and easy-to-use operating system, since it uses the latest stable of Debian (10 Buster).

Deepin as mentioned above is a distribution based on but it has the custom Deepin desktop interface and of course the related tools. The project released today a new stable version 20. The new major version has a Cloud sync function built into the control panel but also brings the ability to burn optical media through the distribution's file manager.

deepin 20 (1002) comes with an excellent design style and redesigns for the desktop environment and applications, bringing a completely new visual look. Besides these, it uses the Debian 10.5 repository, and the installation supports two kernels 5.4 και το Kernel 5.7.

Tips for the new version and more about the new features of deepin 20 can be found at publication of the publication.

I personally choose the original distributions, and in this case I use Debian. But for those who want to get started with Linux, it is best to choose a distribution that installs everything automatically. I recommend the MX Linux distribution, so you do not have adventures with the drivers after installation.

However if you want one MacOS-like work by default, try deepin. One of the great strengths of Linux is its adaptability. This means you can build the deepin desktop on any distro you want, as long as you have one appetite for experimentation.
