Facebook has just made it easy to manage your Facebook, Messenger and Instagram accounts at the same time. The new Facebook Accounts Center gives you more control over your accounts across each platform.
Facebook he said that he started testing the new Account Center in a blog post. Account Center is a tool that lets you control your Facebook, Instagram and Messenger accounts at the same time.
This makes it much easier to have a profile on Facebook and Instagram, as well as share the same story on both platforms. Account Center also brings Single Sign On, a feature that lets you sign in or out of your Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram accounts at the same time.
If you want to have the same name on both platforms, you can easily sync your profile photo and name. So when you update your profile picture or name on Facebook, it will automatically change on Instagram.
Facebook plans to integrate Facebook Pay into the Accounts Center sometime in late 2020. The addition of Facebook Pay will improve the payment process on Facebook and Instagram, allowing you to make purchases and donations on both platforms.
According to Facebook, using the new Account Center won't change how it uses your data. The post says Facebook will still use the information to “personalize experiences across accounts, on functions like recommended friends.”
Account Center is an option (for now), but it can definitely prove useful for anyone who wants to make quick crossovers.
It should be mentioned that this feature technically allows Facebook to connect the usage data from your accounts to Facebook, Instagram and later from Facebook Pay. This practically means that the largest social network he will meet you better, because it will cross profile and fill in missing pieces of the puzzle called profiling.
