Redo Rescue is a live CD based on Ubuntu that features software that backs up, restores, and restores your system from crashes.
It has an easy-to-use graphical program for backing up and recovering bare-metal on hard disk partitions, external hard drives and shared networks. 
The CD also contains many popular data recovery programs and a Web browser.
The distribution, originally called Redo Backup & Recovery, stopped growing after a release in late 2012, but was finally revived in 2020 by project Redo Rescue.
