PowerShell 7.1 final just released

Η ολοκλήρωσε την ανάπτυξη της επόμενης έκδοσης του PowerShell. Η εταιρεία διέθεσε σήμερα το .1 for those interested in downloading it.

PowerShell can run scripts on almost all Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms. Starting with PowerShell 7.0, developers are trying to align with the .NET release to better support the application lifecycle. So PowerShell 7.1 was released immediately after the release of .NET 5.0 and will align with .Net releases.

Changes made to PowerShell 7.1 include:

  • PowerShellGet 3.0
  • The Secret Management Module will receive support for Linux.
  • PSScriptAnalyzer 2.0 for a better user experience with VSCode-PowerShell and PSEditorServices.
  • Improvements to the PowerShell Jupyter Kernel
  • Improvements to platyPS vNext.
