Kali Linux is a Debian-based distribution with a collection security tools - forensics.
His latest release project, Kali Linux 2020.4, makes zsh the default shell linecommand line, guides new users to the distribution's resources when they log in, and adapts the bash shell to look more like zsh.
In our previous quarterly release, 2020.3, we focused on switching from Bash to zsh as our default shell (where possible).
We are pleased to announce that after testing and comments by the users, change done. Say hello to zsh. A thank you to everyone who provided positive and constructive feedback.
We are happy with that and hope you are too. We know we can't thank you all together (so if you want to go back to Bash, run the command:
'chsh -s /bin/bash').”
