Defrag TRIM error that has not been fixed for six months

After release feature updates of 10 and many cumulative updates, the has not yet fixed a bug that causes Windows Defrag on drives with SSD TRIM enabled

In May 2020, Microsoft released Windows 10 , the May 2020 update , which brought two bugs that cause problems for SSDs too often when trying to TRIM on non-SSD drives.

The first bug prevents Windows 10's auto-maintenance feature from remembering when a drive was last optimized when the operating system restarts. The forgotten previous optimization date causes the of disks, and SSDs, on every restart of the computer.

In September, Microsoft released the update "KB4571744, Which fixed the Auto Maintenance error, causing the SSDs to be rebuilt very often.

The second error causes the Windows 10 disk defragmentation feature ( Drives) to try to TRIM non-SSD drives. This does not harm normal disks but creates errors in the event log.

Today, almost six months later, Microsoft has not yet resolved the above issues, as shown by today's test below.

Although this error has been extensively reported by Microsoft has not officially recognized it in Windows 10.
