The final version of .NET 5 was released about two weeks ago. Of course Microsoft has started planning the upcoming .NET 6.
Anyone of you who is interested in development can now follow it from a website.
.NET (formerly called .NET Core) is a free and open source, managed framework software for Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems. It is the successor to the .NET Framework and was developed primarily by Microsoft through the .NET Foundation. Released under MIT license.
Immo Landwerth did tweet to monitor the project, but made it clear that "this site is not intended to be a binding product roadmap, which means you can see how we change our minds and respond to challenges."
The list of proposed changes is too long. Anyone interested in this can take a look. Maybe there is a feature you would like to see that does not exist so far.
