HP CEO Enrique Lores recently complained about customers not using genuine inks on HP inkjet printers.
Over the years, HP's ink and toner business has generated billions in profits. But in 2019, things didn't go so well: more and more customers adopted cheaper alternatives solutions from third-party manufacturers, and HP lost more than 110 million euros.
HP apparently no longer wants its customers to not use genuine inks and toners in their printers. The solution was to increase the original price of the printer for customers who do not want to use HP brand supplies.
