The following article presents a way to download the Windows iso using the Network condition programming tool using MS Edge (chromium) and which is identical for almost all browsers.
We will also understand how "iso downloader" applications work.
We visit the link:
Click the three dots on the right in the bar and select
More tools γραμμα Programming tools
In the new subfolder, select the three dots on the right → More tools → Network conditions
With this option we change the "network conditions" in which we navigate the current website. So far it is navigation from a desktop computer.
We will select simulation for navigation from Android mobile.
We select Select automatically
and from the list that is activated we choose Chrome- Android Mobile or Tablet (try with other devices)
We refresh the page and notice that its format changes, giving directly the choice of version, language and at the end of the download links of 32 and 64 bit iso.
What exactly did we do with the above steps?
The MS image download site is programmed to behave differently on devices that are not running their operating system. If we have linux, Mac or android, it does not prompt us in the process of upgrading, system control etc but as we saw above.
Using the Network Condition tool we change the "network condition" / network environment with which we navigate and give traffic information to the current web page from a specific list of devices, in this device without Windows operating system.
We would have the same result if we chose a Mac device.
Note, we do not change the navigation behavior of our browser but only of the current tab on which we loaded the web page.
You can experiment with this tool on other websites by facilitating, for example, downloading and saving videos displayed on them such as e.g. on facebook, netflix etc.
