In the latest AV-TEST Product Evaluation and Certification reports, ESET was awarded the Top Product award in both the product category for professional use as well as in the category for domestic use.
In the August-October 2020 tests of AV-TEST, ESET Endpoint Security 7.3 and ESET Internet Security 13.2 - the ESET security products for Windows for businesses and home consumers respectively - were each recognized as a Top Product with excellent results in the categories Protection and Usability .
AV-TEST, an independent testing organization, uses one of the largest collections of digital samples malicioussoftware in the world to create a realistic environment for reliable testing.
The tests evaluated the best antivirus software for Windows computers for home users users and enterprises, with all vendors rated in three main categories: Protection, Performance, Usability.
ESET solutions received the highest score of 6 points in the category of Protection, which evaluates protection against malware such as viruses, worms and Trojan horses, and the highest score of 6 in the category of Usability, which evaluates the impact of security software on usability of the computer.
Both solutions scored near-perfect scores of 5,5 in the Performance category as well, which assesses the impact of product in the speed of the computer in daily use.
It is important to note that last summer, ESET received the 100th AV-Test Certificate - a milestone that marks the tenth anniversary of ESET receiving its first AV-Test Certificate in June 2010.
