The Linux Mint development team has announced its release Linux Mint 20.1, a long-term support that will continue to receive updates until 2025.
Its newest version project features a new web apps manager and the Hypnotix IPTV app and the ability to mark files as favorites for quick access.
Linux Mint 20.1 is based on the LTS version of Ubuntu 20.04.1 (series Focal Fossa) and comes with the LTS series of Linux 5.4 kernels. It comes as an update to Linux Mint 20 “Ulyana”, which is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and is supported until 2025, as we mentioned above.
More information can be found in the announcements for the three versions of the project (Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce) but also in the issue notes (Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce)
