The Windows 10 21H1 update “Spring 2021 ”is most official and is released to millions of users through the Windows Insider program. It brings some improvements as well as new features to the Windows Hello.
Unlike the Windows 10 version update 2004 last year, the new upgrade is not a huge overhaul of the operating system, as the company wants to focus on “improvements quality” and “in a small set of features”.
Later today, you will be able to download and install the Windows 10 21H1 update from the Beta channel, but as mentioned above, you may not be thrilled.
The fact that the 21H1 version is relatively small in terms of new features could be a good thing. This will allow Microsoft to add all new features to the update Sun Valley which is rumored to be released in October 2021.
In a press release, Microsoft states that Windows 10 21H1 will be released with maintenance technology, which was used for October 2020 Update and November 2019 Update.
Although the full changelog is not currently available, Microsoft promises small new features, security changes, and quality improvements.
How to try the Windows 10 21H1 update
Microsoft is rolling out the feature update to Insiders, so it should appear as an optional download if you're participating in the program Windows Insider and you are subscribed to the Beta channel.
If your device meets the requirements, you will see an update called "Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1" later today.
