Microsoft has introduced a new logo for the upcoming Edge based on Google's Chromium.
The new logo features the letter E as a wave (probably for surfing the internet). It looks modern, and closely follows the Fluent Design that uses Microsoft for the new icons of Office and the Windows 10X.
The new logo was revealed with an easter egg set posted on Twitter. If you open the inner edge: // surf / address, you will see a mini-game revealing the new logo.
The easter egg isn't working yet, but it's expected to appear soon in Insider builds of the upcoming program browsing.
As you may already know, Microsoft currently uses three channels to deliver updates to Edge Insiders. The channel Canary is updated daily (except Saturday and Sunday), Dev channel receives weekly updates and the Beta channel is updated every 6 weeks.
The fixed channel it also seems to be prepared by the company.
The latest versions Edge Chromium right now are:
Beta Channel: 78.0.276.24
Dev Channel: 79.0.309.11
Canary Channel: 80.0.320.0
