Owners of iOS devices better be careful about the videos they want to play on their device. A video is currently circulating on the internetnetwork that can "throw" almost anyone iPhone or iPad in three seconds.
What is particularly interesting is that the video does not immediately shut down your iPhone. It takes around 15 with 30 seconds to start affecting your device, making it totally useless. After all, it's a hard reset.
We currently don't know what specific video is causing the malfunction, but the most likely explanation is that the clip is corrupted archive which causes memory leaks when loaded in Safari.
Let's say it does not seem to work on older devices (tested on iPhone 4 running with iOS 7.1.2 and the device continued to work).
