The largest social network will change your News Feed again. Facebook reportedly added 360 degree video support to its News Feed.
The new feature is already available to some users (for Android mobile devices and for all computers) and works in a similar way that works on YouTube.
On mobile devices, you can simply move your phone around to see the video (or click and drag). On computers just click and drag with your mouse.
The idea for the 360-degree videos probably came from Oculus, which Facebook bought in 2014. There are already some very impressive videos available. You will also find videos from Star Wars, Discovery, GoPro, LeBron James & Uninterrupted, Saturday Night Live, and VICE.
The company states that the new video format will be available on the Internet and on Android mobile devices "soon" (it already works for some. As mentioned above), and that it will not work in Safari and Internet Explorer browsers.
IOS users will also have to wait a few months.
