According to 2015, Huawei's three business units recorded significant growth.

Carrier BG's annual revenue was set at 232,3 Chinese yuan (35,8 billion US dollars), an increase of 21% on an annual basis. Wide spread of 4G networks has largely contributed to this growth.

Enterprise BG's annual turnover reached 27,6 billion Chinese yuan (4,3 billion US dollars), showing an increase of 44% year-on-year. In particular, Huawei's enterprise business saw rapid growth in the fields of public security, finance, transportation and .

An important fact regarding the company's performance in 2015 was that the annual revenue of Huawei's Consumer BG was 129,1 billion Chinese Yuan (19,9 billion US dollars), recording an increase of 73% year-on-year. This rise was a direct result of increased demand for premium products , which offer a premium user experience as well as the increased influence of Huawei as a consumer brand.

For the past 20 years or so, Huawei has remained focused on ICT infrastructure, steadily investing in research and development. In 2015 alone, Huawei invested 15% of its annual revenue - 59,6 billion Chinese yuan (US $ 9,2 billion) - in research and development. Huawei's total investment in the past decades has exceeded 240 billion Chinese yuan (about 37 billion US dollars).

Huawei CFO Sabrina Meng noted: “We ended 2015 with a strong financial position, with stable cash flows from operating activities and effective risk control. In 2016, we will continue to focus on our core strategy, remaining customer-centric in everything we do. We will proceed with management transformation projects in order to better prepare ourselves for the coming future and we will continue to promote the efficiency of our operations to ensure the sustainable development of the company.
