3DTouch: Seventy years have passed since the "patenting" of the computer mouse and the researchers of the University of Wyoming believe that the... little mouse has eaten its "breads".
So they created a "wearer" three-dimensional device that is placed on the user's index finger as a dagger giving him the opportunity to play the computer's function literally on his fingers.
The future thimble or the 3DTouch has a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can "read" the user's movements. It also has an optical sensor that detects the movement of the finger against a two-dimensional surface. An easy-to-use button at the bottom of the finger offers the choice, just like the classic mouse button.
"3DTouch gives a futuristic role to the user's fingers, allowing them to successfully send commands to their computer without holding something in their hands, make a selection files or others data or even rotation of depicted objects" researchers describe behind the technologically advanced thimble.
