The AADE draws the special attention of citizens as recently a new wave of mass sending of misleading SMS messages has been observed by cunning individuals, appearing as "Myaade"Or"GOV».
These messages, under the pretext of " unpaid annual traffic tax" , ask recipients to click on a link to pay alleged vehicle traffic fees.
WARNING: This is an attempted electronic fraud (smishing).
We note the following:
The Public Administration Authority does NOT send SMS to citizens, except in specific cases of transactions (e.g. granting a Key Number) and ALWAYS in REPLY and EXECUTION of a relevant citizen's request.
AADE does NOT send a link (url link) in any type of correspondence (email, SMS, etc.).
If you have received or may receive any such message on your mobile phone, without having previously submitted a relevant request to the AADE, ignore it, DO NOT click on any link (url link) and delete it immediately. Under no circumstances do you provide any personal information or card details.
