Bitstrips: Facebook's New Fashion

Recently, we had posted about the giraffes that appeared on Facebook. The cute quadruped would probably not be the only weird thing you will see on the popular social networking site. A new fashion has been observed lately and we will soon see it in Greece if you have not already seen it. A kind of computer-generated comic began appearing in the timeline of Facebook members. No, it's not a virus or malicious prank, though it can sometimes be quite annoying as we will see below.

All are due to an application called Bitstrips.

What exactly does Bitstrips do? The application allows you to make a picture of yourself in comics. You can do the same with your friends' avatars.

Once you have created your Bitstrips, you are given three options: You can make a "status comic" that shows your mood or what you do. You can also make a "friend comic," where you can put your avatar along with a friend's avatar. Finally you can create a "greeting card" (greeting card) for any occasion.
