Acer TravelMate Spin B3 military specifications

Acer has announced the new TravelMate Spin B3 convertible laptop (TMB311R-32) with military-grade durability, a device specifically designed for classrooms.

The touchscreen device has a Full HD webcam and an extremely fast Intel® Wi-Fi 6, providing students with everything they need to succeed in interactive or virtual classrooms that make extensive use of multimedia-based teaching materials.

Essentially, the Acer TravelMate Spin B3 is a reliable device that tries to provide protection against common accidents by allowing and teachers to focus on what matters most: learning.

The Acer TravelMate Spin B3 features the latest Intel Pentium Silver processor and offers up to 12 hours of battery life to ensure that students do not have to charge it during the school day.

Thanks to the durability of military specifications and the shock-absorbing guard, the device can withstand up to 60 Kg of power down, while it also has increased resistance to daily wear.

The mechanically mounted keys further enhance the laptop's durability: each key has small plastic wings that grip the chassis when pulled, helping to protect the keyboard from clumsy fingers.

In addition, an optional silver ion antimicrobial agent, compatible with BPR and EPA in keyboard, touchpad and palm rest coating has been shown to have a consistently high microbial reduction rate against a wide range of bacteria under the ISO 2801 test protocol; .

The convertible design of the AcerTravelMate Spin B3 makes learning more fun and facilitates collaborative work. So, after students do something in tablet or clamshell mode, they can then show their work to others in projection mode.

The device can also be put into tent mode, in which the keyboard supports and balances the screen, allowing users to save office space while watching videos or participating in online lectures. An optional Wacom AES pen and 5 MP HDR front camera further enhance the flexibility of the device.

Moreover, the computer has been equipped with a number of connectivity features in order to minimize the inconvenience associated with online learning.

Intel Wi-Fi 6 provides fast wireless connectivity, while a strategically placed wireless antenna and 2×2 MU-MIMO help connect in multi-user environments. Optional 4G LTE connectivity gives students extra headroom , so they can stay connected and access schoolwork and in the cloud, even when out of Wi-Fi range.

The device includes a full function USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector for faster data transfer, RJ45 port for direct connection to Ethernet and HDMI port for connection to external monitors.
