Three of the Adobe software (Reader, Acrobat and Flash) are popular targets for hackers. The company does not stop closing security loopholes, and apparently to no avail, since some are closed and others are opened.
Today Adobe announced the upcoming cross-platform security updates for the Adobe Reader and Acrobat applications that will be released next Tuesday (May 12).
The updates for Windows and Mac of the Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10, 10.1.13), and the Acrobat Acrobat XI (11.0.10, 10.1.13) patch unspecified critical vulnerabilities in software (the company does not mention them for obvious reasons, as if the interested parties are not aware of them).
Adobe installs these errors security at Severity Level “2”, just below the most serious security bugs.
Its software Adobe, as we mentioned above, are some of the hacker's favorite targets for some time now.
With the vulnerabilities they are constantly discovering, they can and do carry out targeted attacks spear phishing and cyber-espionage.
Vulnerability details will be released as soon as the patches are released next Tuesday.
