AlmaLinux is the replacement distribution for CentOS

The OS is an ana of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The distribution intends to replace the CentOS Linux with long-term support versions.

The first stable release of the project is AlmaLinux OS 8.3.

For quite some time now we also have the conversion script in our GitHub repository so you can also convert your system to stable OS AlmaLinux if you do not want to reinstall it from scratch. ”
