Albert Einstein's lost theory was found

In an Albert Einstein 1931 manuscript, which was neglected by the researchers of his work, an alternative proposal for the creation of the Universe was found.

The famous scientist proposed that instead of the Big Bang, the Universe expanded continuously and eternally, a theory independently supported by British physicist Fred Hoyle, decades later.

The Big Bang theory began to flourish when American astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered in the 1920 decade how the universe is expanding. Since the Universe today is larger than yesterday, once in its history logic pretends to have been infinitely small, and therefore infinitely dense and active.

In the 1940 decade, however, Hoyle argued that it would be mathematically acceptable, and a description in which the Universe expands eternally, keeping its density steady.

For this to happen, new matter would have to be created continuously, which would formze new structures such as galaxies and stars that would occupy the empty space. As the Universe would always be infinite, its size would not change with its expansion.

Einstein describes exactly the same idea in his handwriting: "For density to remain stable, new particles of matter must be formed continuously," he writes.

Though Albert Einstein himself he soon abandoned this idea, and unfortunately for Hoyle he never published it, the same document depicts his dissatisfaction with the notion that the Universe was created by a Big Bang even though this idea was fully compatible with its own General Theory of Relativity . A key behind this behavior was Einstein's belief that the Universe should be eternal and static, at least seemingly.

The text was available to the public visiting Albert Einstein's archives in Jerusalem, however, he was inadvertently neglected as he had been categorized as the earliest version of another publication.
