AltSendme 0.5.0 file transfer without using cloud and accounts

The AltSendme is a free, open-source software for direct file transfer (peer-to-peer / P2P). It allows you to send files and folders directly between devices, without using the cloud and without needing an account.altsendme m

How does it work

File selection: Drag the file or folder into the app.
Create a ticket: The application generates a temporary encrypted code (“ticket”).
Password sharing: You send this code to the recipient with any message.
Direct download: The recipient enters the code into their own app and downloads the file directly from you.

Property Highlights

No size limit: You send huge files, since they are not stored on a foreign server.
End-to-End Encryption: The transfer is secure using the QUIC and TLS 1.3 protocols.
Automatic continuation: If the connection is lost, the download continues where it left off.
Privacy protection: No registration, email, or account creation required.
Multiple systems: It works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android [github.com].

Important

Because the connection is P2P, the sender must remain online with the app open until the download is complete. If the app is closed, the transfer is temporarily stopped.
