The AltSendme is a free, open-source software for direct file transfer (peer-to-peer / P2P). It allows you to send files and folders directly between devices, without using the cloud and without needing an account.
How does it work
File selection: Drag the file or folder into the app.
Create a ticket: The application generates a temporary encrypted code (“ticket”).
Password sharing: You send this code to the recipient with any message.
Direct download: The recipient enters the code into their own app and downloads the file directly from you.

No size limit: You send huge files, since they are not stored on a foreign server.
End-to-End Encryption: The transfer is secure using the QUIC and TLS 1.3 protocols.
Automatic continuation: If the connection is lost, the download continues where it left off.
Privacy protection: No registration, email, or account creation required.

Important
Because the connection is P2P, the sender must remain online with the app open until the download is complete. If the app is closed, the transfer is temporarily stopped.
