The co-founder of WordPress and CEO of Automattic Matt Mullenweg trolls contributors and users of the WordPress open-source project by asking them to check a box that says "Pineapple is delicious on pizza." 
Η change it was spotted by WordPress contributors late Sunday and is still there as of Monday morning. If you try to log in or create a new account without checking the box it gives you a “please try again” error.
Last week, as part of the ongoing legal battle between WP Engine and Automattic, the company that owns WordPress.com, a judge ordered Mullenweg to remove a login checkbox from WordPress.org that required users to commit that they were not connected to WP Engine, otherwise they could not connect to WordPress.com.
I personally think that Matt Mullenweg's attitude now resembles a teenager. Yes, I understand the logic, since I also consider WP Engine overrated, but with the place it is brought, it loses its right.
Remember that they depend on WordPress.com and WordPress.org millions sites, a little seriousness doesn't hurt.
