Facebook Messenger fans will love the news mode notifications brought by the new Android Q. It is called Bubbles and it appeared in the second Android Q beta released yesterday.
In a suspension in Android Developers, Google describes in detail the new Bubbles feature and provides developers with instructions on how to implement the feature.
Essentially, any application can use the new ones alerts Bubbles. They look like bubbles as their name suggests and with a tap on your screen you will be able to do a lot more like send a message, see the whole conversation thread and even reply instantly without having to launch the app.
The first time a user receives a notification via the Bubbles feature from an application, they will be asked if they allow new alerts. Google propose developers to use Bubbles in messaging apps, notes, arrival times and phone calls.
