Forget cold baths. According to one of the old newspapers of Japan, an Osaka-based showerhead maker, Science, has developed a tool that's shaped like a cockpit, fills with water when a bather sits on a seat in its center, and measures their pulse and other biological data. through sensors to make sure the temperature is right.
It also “projects images on the inside of [its] transparent cover to help the person feel refreshed,” reports the Japanese newspaper.
Named “Mirai Ningen Sentakuki” (human washing machine of the future), the device may never be released.
Indeed, for now the company's plans seem limited to an exhibition to be held in Osaka in April (Osaka Kansai Expo), where up to eight people will be able to try a 15-minute wash and dry every day by reservation.
However, a home version is reportedly in the works.
