4MLinux developer Mr. Zbigniew Konojacki announced the new Antivirus Live CD 47.0-1.4.1.
Antivirus Live CD is an official fork of 4MLinux that includes the ClamAV scanner. It is designed for users who need a lightweight Live CD to help protect their computers from viruses.
Ethernet, WiFi, PPP and PPPoE are supported by Antivirus Live CD to automatically update virus signature databases.
All partitions on your disk are indexed during the boot process so that they can be scanned by ClamAV. Live CD Antivirus ISO images are fully compatible with UNetbootin, which can be used to create a handy Antivirus Live USB.
The Antivirus Live CD is a small, free and easy-to-use live ISO built on the open source Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) virus protection software. The Live CD is designed to clean your computer against viruses, whether you run Linux, Mac or Windows.
The new version, Antivirus Live CD 47.0-1.4.1, has the latest version of ClamAV built in which has all the latest virus updates and fixes.
Apart from that, Antivirus Live CD 47.0-1.4.1 is based on 4MLinux operating system
How can you use the Live CD?
After burning it to a CD or USB, you can boot from the CD, or your USB into the infected system. Use 'root' with password 'root' as a user to start browsing Antivirus features.
