The antiX distribution is a lightweight Linux desktop that uses IceWM as the default window manager. Its developers project just released version 19.1.
This is a bug-fix release of version 19, but also includes updates for IceWM that successfully reached version 1.6.3:
AntiX-19.1 bug-fix / upgrade ISO images are available. The new ISO images are bug-fix / upgrades of the antiX 19 SysVInit series. Only new users do not need to download the ISO they are interested in if they are already using antiX19.
AntiX 19.1 Linux is based on Debian 'Buster' and is a systemd-free distribution. As usual, the following systemd-free versions are available for 32- and 64-bit architectures:
- antiΧ-full with four windows managers - IceWM (default), Fluxbox, JWM and herbstluftwm, along with the full LibreOffice suite.
- antiΧ-base with four windows managers - IceWM (default), Fluxbox, JWM and herbstluftwm,
- antiΧ-core without X window,
- antiΧ-net without X window you must be connected wired to install.
32-bit versions use a non-PAE kernel.
