An attempt to violate data from email accounts was accepted by the Parliament yesterday (at noon on Thursday).
According to the information circulating so far, none has been identified leakage information. The attack is reportedly being examined by experts in collaboration with the Cybercrime Prosecution.
According to an announcement by the G.G. of the Parliament, Mr. Giorgos Mylonakis "on January 20, 2021 at noon, the IT Directorate found that an attempt was underway acquisitionof access to Parliament's e-mail accounts from an external IP".
It also stated that "users' web mail for the protection them and the competent supervisory authorities were informed." "... the IT Department is in direct and close cooperation with the competent authorities in order to evaluate the incident".
