A limited number of devices iPhone 5s suffer from a manufacturing defect that causes it to charge very slowly or even minimally battery. Apple admitted the manufacturing error and promised to replace the affected devices with new ones.
An Apple spokesman confirmed in New York Times that some iPhone 5s devices suffer from a defect planning which affects the battery.
The Apple representative, Teresa brewer said: “We recently discovered a manufacturing error in the line production which affects a very limited number of devices iPhone 5S. It error it causes a very slow battery charge and sometimes causes a reduced battery life.”
Brewer added: “We will be giving away new phones to our customers who have one in their hands device. "
