Apple releases updates for Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.5)

Η Apple today announced updates to the OS X in the version 10.8.5 for all those who run Mac with Mountain Lion. The update is available in the App Store / Updates.

From Release Notes:

• Fixes an issue that can prevent messages from appearing in Mail
• Improves the AFP performance file for transfers with 802.11ac Wi-Fi
• Solves an issue that can prevent the screen saver from automatically starting
• Improves Xsan's credibility
• Improves reliability when transferring large files over Ethernet
• Improves performance when authenticating with an Open Directory server
• Fixes a vulnerability that did not allow a smart card to unselect preference panes in System Preferences
• It contains improvements for the MacBook Air (Mid 2013) included in Software Update 1.0
