Apple has been very careful in wording its description Apple Watch. It states that the new device is not waterproof, but that it is rather resistant to water.
Despite the company's warnings from FoneFox, they thought about taking a shower at Apple Watch but also putting it on the pool. Miraculously, Apple's watch continued to work.
As the video shows, if you use the watch in the shower, the touch screen seems to work fine. In the pool, however, the touch screen stops responding. But the video shows that the Apple watch continues to work normally when it comes out of the pool.
So, although Apple insists on saying the device is not waterproof, it seems Apple's watch is much more water resistant than we thought. The Android Wear watches they are largely unbreakable, distinguishing the Pebble that can be worn in the shower without any problems.
But if you get it Apple Watch and go choking it, we recommend that you carefully read the Apple manual that explicitly states that you do not.
"Apple Watch is water resistant, but not waterproof," says Apple's manual. “It can, for example, be worn and used during duration of exercise (exposure to sweat is OK), in the rain, and while washing your hands but submerging it in water is not recommended.”
Apple also notes that the watch "has an IPX7 water resistance rating of IEC 60529", meaning that it can't actually sink into a pool according to DigitalTrends.
