The Ardor 6.9 was released today with various new features, improvements and many bug fixes. This is a free, open-source, powerful, and cross-platform DAW (digital audio workstation).
Η application is distributed under the GNU General Public License and can be installed on GNU/Linux, OSX, FreeBSD, and Windows operating systems. Its lead developer is Paul Davis, who is also responsible for the tool JACK Audio Connection Kit.
Ardour 6.9 comes about a month and a half after the release of Ardor 6.8 to add some new essential features to the already powerful digital audio workstation software.
These include support for importing M4A audio files, a new customizable mode processingRemove Gaps track with adjustable threshold and output parameters, as well as the ability to display measurements low-level DSP processing information in the Performance Meters window.
This version also brings a configurable Slip Contents shortcut in Preferences, a new Track > Playlist menu with features for creating new playlists, support for specific CPU DMA latency values, two new modes for MIDI processing (extend-selection and invert-selection ) and arbitrary tracing of MIDI data for the MIDI Tracer windows.
