Ardour 7.3 was released today with several new features, improvements and many bug fixes. It is a free, open-source, powerful, and cross-platform DAW (digital audio workstation).
Η application is distributed under the GNU General Public License and can be installed on GNU/Linux, OSX, FreeBSD, and Windows. Its lead developer is Paul Davis, who is also responsible for the tool JACK Audio Connection Kit.
Ardour 7.3 comes to add some much needed new features to the already powerful digital audio workstation software.
These include support for importing M4A audio files, a new customizable track editing feature remove Gaps with adjustable threshold and output parameters, as well as the ability to display low-level measurement of DSP processing information in the Performance Meters window.
