Ardour 9.0 was released today with various new features, enhancements and many bug fixes. It is a free, open-source, powerful, and cross-platform DAW (digital audio workstation).

The application is distributed under the GNU General Public License and can be installed on GNU/Linux, OSX, FreeBSD, and Windows operating systems. Its main developer is Paul Davis, who is also responsible for the JACK Audio Connection Kit tool.
