Windows 11 will be released shortly via Windows Insider (from next week).
Prior to the release of the final version, manufacturers Asus, Acer, Dell and HP released a list of devices that will be supported for upgrading to Windows 11.
Most modern devices running Windows 10 will have no problems with the upcoming Windows 11. According to Microsoft executives, you will need a processor that is at least 1 GHz with a TPM of 1.2, 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. You will also need a Microsoft account if you use Windows Home.
But let's look at the lists of computers compatible with Windows 11.
Every Dell computer running Windows 10 sold through the company's e-commerce platform will run on the new operating system, according to the company. In addition, older devices will be supported.
The following is a list of devices tested by Dell to upgrade to Windows 11:
Alienware desktop and laptop
G-Series desktop and laptop
Inspiron desktop and laptop
XPS desktop and laptop
Vostro desktop and laptop
As you can see in the list above, the most popular products of the company are supported (Alienware, Inspiron, XPS, Latitude and others). You can also visit support page Dell and find out if your device has been tested in the latest version of Windows 11.
Even if your device is not listed, it may be upgraded as long as it meets the minimum requirements listed here.
However, it should be noted that Dell will not have new drivers if your device has not been tested by them. Only tested machines will receive drivers from the company, but you can still install drivers from Intel, AMD or Nvidia manually.
HP has also published a list of supported devices for Windows 11, but at this time it only lists the top products. There is currently no complete list and we expect to publish more details.
