It was supposed to be announced at CES starting this week, but Qualcomm didn't wait. The manufacturer published a blog post (now deleted) detailing them of the upcoming device.

According to Qualcomm, the Asus Zenphone VR comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. The same runs inside Google Pixel and Asus Zenphone 3.

Για τους gamers τα νέα είναι καταπληκτικά καθώς θα υποστηρίζει και such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Need for Speed, and Gunjack 2.

Earlier today, Blass Evan of VentureBeat or "evleaks" as best known, also published a photo of the device.
So when Asus officially puts the phone later this week, it's unlikely that there will be any surprises.

But definitely the biggest event of the year CES 2017 will not disappoint us. Asus simply missed the opportunity with this device.
